  • Adi Rosenfeld has served as Westchester Torah Academy’s Executive Director since July 2023, bringing both professional expertise and a deeply personal commitment to the school’s mission. Before stepping into her current role, Adi worked directly with students as a Hebrew teacher, a role she cherished and approached with pride and responsibility. With a background in business operations and years of experience running franchise organizations and a successful children’s enrichment center, Adi now oversees WTA’s financial operations, strategic planning, tuition and financial aid, and compliance with nonprofit and religious institutional standards. Her leadership has strengthened the school’s operational infrastructure while ensuring that WTA continues to balance responsible stewardship with its core commitment to accessible Jewish education.

What truly defines Adi’s leadership is the warmth, care, and thoughtfulness she brings to her role. She approaches her work with sincerity and humility, building genuine relationships with parents, faculty, and students while keeping the needs of the school community at the center of every decision.

Born and raised in Tel Aviv, Adi brings a deep love for Israel and the values of community and responsibility that shaped her upbringing. She served in the IDF as part of the Military Police and often reflects on how meaningful it is to work in a Jewish day school dedicated to nurturing the next generation of proud, knowledgeable Jews with strong connections to Torah, Israel, and the Jewish people.

During the difficult days following October 7, Adi drew strength from the WTA community as families and staff came together in powerful ways to support Israel through grassroots initiatives, fundraising, and acts of collective care.

Adi has also helped guide WTA through a period of remarkable growth, including the renovation of the school’s historic mansion — a project that reflects the school’s dual commitment to Torah values and educational excellence. Anchored by a Beit Midrash and synagogue on one side and a state-of-the-art STEAM Lab on the other, the new space embodies WTA’s vision of raising thoughtful students grounded in tradition and prepared for the future.

Above all, Adi is devoted to her family. Together with her husband, Jesse, she is the proud mother of three daughters, whom she enthusiastically cheers on in their passion for volleyball. Known around the office for her generosity of spirit, humor, and her habit of sharing a good recipe along with a laugh, Adi brings heart and humanity to everything she does.

  • Jessica and Adam Batkin joined Westchester Torah Academy in 2022 and quickly became passionate advocates for the school in their local community of Stamford, CT. From the moment they toured the school nearly five years ago during a Rosh Chodesh Tekes and experienced a beautiful and vibrant Hallel B’tzibur, they were struck by the joy, purpose, and togetherness of the entire community — students, teachers, and faculty united in simcha and joyful Judaism.

What inspires the Batkins most about WTA is its combination of Modern Orthodox values, thoughtful leadership, and a culture that models anava. They are deeply moved by the strong female role models among the administration and faculty who encourage their daughters to fully engage in Jewish life, alongside rabbis and teachers who serve as guiding examples for all their children. They value a school that makes responsible decisions, maintains humility, and cultivates a community where parents and families step up to support one another. This environment of integrity, kindness, and care motivates them to invest their time, energy, and passion in helping WTA thrive.

Jessica, a veterinarian, and Adam, who works in tech at AQR Capital Management, are proud parents of three WTA students: Shifra, graduating 8th grade this year; Gila, in 5th grade; and Matan, in 2nd grade. They have witnessed the school’s remarkable growth firsthand — from Matan being part of the first classes to move into the new Early Childhood floor when it opened in 2023 to now preparing to celebrate the Chanukat HaBayit of the newly renovated Middle School — a space their daughters will, b’ezrat Hashem, enjoy now and in the years to come.

  • For the past eight years, Morah Ingrid Hauptman has been a cornerstone of Westchester Torah Academy’s Middle School growth and vision. She joined WTA when the school’s oldest students were in fifth and sixth grade and played a pivotal role in shaping the structure and curriculum of the division. She helped develop and implement the project-based learning model that remains a defining feature of our Humanities and Science programs.

Morah Ingrid has taught Humanities, English, and History, and had the privilege of guiding WTA’s first graduating class from sixth grade through graduation — a milestone that was both historic for the school and deeply meaningful to her personally. In recent years, she has been instrumental in building and strengthening the Middle School Student Learning Center, drawing on her early career in middle school special education in the public school system and her Master’s degree in Elementary and Special Education. Her expertise in literacy and differentiated instruction has positively impacted countless students.

A dedicated Jewish day school educator since 2010, Morah Ingrid believes deeply in providing an outstanding secular education alongside a strong Jewish foundation. She is committed to helping students grow into thoughtful, capable young adults prepared for high school, Israel, college, and meaningful lives within the Jewish community. She takes tremendous pride in watching WTA graduates flourish in high school, in Israel, and as they prepare for college — and in welcoming them back, taller and surer of themselves.

Outside of school, she is an avid yoga practitioner and former instructor who recently stepped back from teaching to spend more time with her mother, children, and grandchildren — her greatest source of pride and support.
